I enrolled in Michigan State University's Master's of Arts in Educational Technology program because I wanted to become a modern educator, embracing the way technology and Millennial students are changing the fied of education.  I have always been a lifelong learner.  However, being a modern educator is also about not being afraid of new technology and ideas, which is something I have become more comfortable with in the last couple years. 

 

This showcase highlights coursework from my MAET experience as well as from my professional experience in two themes: lifelong learning and getting stuck in with technology.  A couple of things to keep in mind while reviewing this showcase is that being a lifelong learner is not always a professional endevor; and getting stuck in with technology can overlap with being a lifelong learner, and vice versa.
